CARVESMART is a complete system of dovetailed vise jaws for production and toolroom vises, allowing custom jaws to be accurately changed in seconds. CARVESMART Grip-N-Rip Jaws are flippable: one side is designed to use MiteeBite Talon Grip inserts for edge gripping on just .060" of material; the other side is designed for MiteeBite round Versa Grip inserts. The Grip-N-Rip Jaws shown here fit 125mm, 5", and 6" vises. These ready-to-use jaws incorporate a SMART stop pin that provides +/-.0003" side-to-side location relative to a slot in the master jaw. The large dovetail provides secure jaw retention. MiteeBite #32050 Talon Grip clamps and #32020 stops are not included. Patent no. 8,540,225. Made in USA.
SMART stop Location
These blank jaws incorporate SMART stop, a slot-and-pin system that provides +/-.0003" side-to-side location of custom jaws when jobs repeat. A precise vertical slot in the Master Jaw mates with a dowel pin in the custom jaw.
