Techniks ShrinkSTATION 00400 is an innovative shrink fit machine for use in manufacturing facilities or job shops that demand a high-end, professional shrink fit tool holding solution. Techniks ShrinkFIT tool holders offer a stronger, more consistent grip on cutting tools compared with ER collet chucks or set screws, which can yield advantages in tool life and cutting ability, provide a better surface finish, and result in less wear-and-tear.

Thermal expansion and contraction for maximum holding power

ShrinkSTATION and ShrinkFIT use thermal expansion and contraction; safe, controlled heat from the ShrinkSTATION machine expands the inner diameter of the tool holder, allowing the tool shank to be inserted, then automatic air cooling forces the bore to contract, yielding up to 10,000 lbs of holding power. You get an extremely rigid connection between the spindle and the cutting tool.

The 00400 ShrinkSTATION features an industrial touch screen, motor driven transport rail, and a heavy-duty stainless steel based to provide reliable performance, even in de3manding environments. Kit includes everything you need to perform shrink fit tool changes on CAT40, CAT50, BT30, BT40, ISO30, HSK40, 50, 63 and 100, C4, C5, C6 toolholders with gauge lengths up to 22” (560mm).
