Precision step jaw for vises with top mounting slots to accept top-mounted jaws. Top Step Jaws are ideal for clamping large rectangular workpieces, extending the Vise's size-capacity range. Steps are precision ground to maintain accurate vertical and horizontal location. Step design provides tool clearance between the workpiece and the vise. Each jaw has both a high and a low step. Use Top Step Jaws only as a set, one for the sliding jaw and one for the fixed jaw (Top Step Jaw for the sliding jaw has a wider hole spacing).Available in three jaw widths, to fit the following vise sizes: 100mm 125mm 160mm
Mounting
Fasten to the vise with two Socket-Head Cap Screws (furnished).
