Round Solid Carbide Pads are often used as drill stops, below a bushing in Tooling to prevent damage to the tool itself. Especially useful in Autoclave or Carbon Fiber Molding Tooling below bushings that need to be cleaned of resin between cycles these Round Solid Carbide Pads also take up much less space in the tool than the traditional Ball Bearing drill stop. Can also be used as rest pads or gripper contacts in Automation and Robotic tooling with large numbers of Cycles. Pads can be brazed or bonded to install. The bottom is slightly chamfered for clearance in a mounting pocket. Available in diameters from 1/4 to 1".
