Square Pallet Tooling Plates – Blank
Precision blank tooling plates that are ready to mount on virtually any horizontal-machining-center pallet, reducing tooling cost and lead time considerably. Cast iron Material provides superior accuracy, dimensional stability, and vibration dampening. Finish machined to tight tolerances. Universal mounting holes fit almost any inch or metric slot spacing. The tooling plates shown here fit 400mm square pallets.
Mounting
JIS mounting is the most-common way to locate tooling plates and blocks on a horizontal-machining-center pallet, with two precisely machined reference edges at 90 Degree to each other. The plate or block is first pulled against the pallet's side locators using three socket-head cap screws, then fastened down with four to eight socket-head cap screws, depending on the pallet size.
