When clamping over a work support, these swing clamps are ideally matched with small threaded-body work supports (1500 lbs load capacity at 7500 psi). The design rule in such applications is that work-support load capacity should be at least 2X clamping force.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         This fixture has three workpieces held by nine swing clamps with short clamping arms. Applying fluid pressure swings arm 90 Degree over workpiece then clamps down. Single-acting version has a fast, totally dependable spring return that lifts arm then swings it back 90 Degree for loading\/unloading. For extended clamp life and proper operation of the safety clutch, a simple flow-control valve may be required if the fixture is powered by a high-flow-rate power source and only contains a few clamps. Check for burrs with finger before installing.Fluid passages must be drilled exactly as shown in the drawings. Do not use NPT fittings.
