To keep Quick Disconnects clean while uncoupled, the male coupling has an available protective cap (order separately below), and the female coupling has an available protective plug. The color-coded couplings shown here prevent confusion when more than one fluid line must be disconnected. These Quick Disconnects are not only color coded for visual identification, they are also mechanically keyed with a pin to provide positive matching with no chance of confusion. The following colors are available: Black White Red Yellow Green Blue In standard applications, black is used for the primary pressure line, and white is used for the return line. The return line (white) is normally non-pressurized after decoupling a pallet.
