Every 500 clamping cycles, the clamping slide should be lubricated using port S provided for central lubrication. Never use up the entire clamping stroke, to ensure safe clamping of the workpiece with full force. If fastening from below is not possible, or to use standard fittings instead of manifold mounting, order the optional Adaptor Plate (Mounting Option 2 or 3). Self-Centering Fixture Vises can be mounted in any position, horizontal or vertical.
